The property is typical of a traditional village style house. It was first built in 1920 and then again renovated in 1950.
It is situated at mid height in walking distance from the port near the 4 corners supermarket which is equal distance also down to the port of Kamini. Close by is also Avlaki bay. Very much surrounded by locals living here and having the feeling of community.
The ground floor is entered off the main pathway. A large hallway separates the layout of the rooms on either side.
All the rooms are very spacious. There is a living room, dining room and kitchen on one side of the hallway and bedroom to the other. There are traditional patterned tiles laid throughout.
Outside the kitchen is a small courtyard which is walled in for privacy. Across the courtyard is a very large outside bathroom.
There are wooden steps from the entrance hallway leading to the first floor. Here are two adjoining rooms, one having a small wooden balcony. They are at present being used as bedrooms.
The house is being rented to locals at the moment and is livable as is. However it does need refurbishing and maybe the layout changed to be more comfortable for modern day living. It could make a lovely home and be good as a short term rental.
